claude.ai support + create and launch A/B tests from a conversation

Round two of our MCP rollout.

1. Connect from claude.ai / Claude Desktop in 3 clicks

Until yesterday you needed a client that could send an API key header. Now HeatMapX works with claude.ai custom connectors:

1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
2. Enter the URL https://heatmapx.com/api/mcp
3. Log in to HeatMapX and click "Allow"

No terminal, no API key.

2. Create and launch A/B tests from the conversation

Reading was step one — now there's write support:

• "Create an A/B test on my homepage with two CTA copies" → a draft appears
• "Start it" → Claude summarizes the experiment and always asks for confirmation → say OK and it's live
• Registering a new site (with its tracking tag) works from chat too

Safety by design

• Write access only on connections where you explicitly approved it on the consent screen (existing connections stay read-only)
• Creation always lands as a draft — start/stop never execute without your approval
• Deleting is not possible via AI
• Disconnect anytime in Settings → Connected apps (permissions shown per app)
